Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood approximately 15 minutes from downtown Phoenix and 5 minutes from Old Town Scottsdale, this lovely eight-bedroom Scottsdale Vacation Rental is as perfect for the urbanite as it is for the outdoor enthusiast.

Start the morning with a rigorous hike up nearby Camelback Mountain and Pinnacle Peak. Then spend a lazy afternoon floating in the private pool while your kids zip down the built-in waterslide. Dreaming of a night on the town? Several of Phoenix’s hottest restaurants are only minutes away, along with numerous luxury retail shops and award-winning golf courses.

Lake Pleasant, Saguaro Lake, and Bartlett Lake are all less than an hour away. The younger crowd will have a blast jet skiing and wakeboarding, while grandma and grandpa rekindle their romance on a sunset dinner cruise. Scenic Interstate 17—the gateway to Prescott, Sedona, Flagstaff, and the Grand Canyon—is a 25 minute drive to the west.

If you’re in a stay-at-home mood, you’ll find everything you need right on the property. Watch the big game in one of three plush living rooms—all of which have flat-screen, high-definition TVs—or sneak away to the very private, jetted hot tub. We also have a spacious billiards room with partial bay windows. Enjoy the mountain views and watch your kids play on the front lawn.

When it’s your turn to cook dinner, you’ll feel positively spoiled in the gourmet chef’s kitchen. This Scottsdale Vacation Rental is outfitted with Viking stainless steel appliances, including a six-burner gas range, a large griddle, double convection ovens, and an enormous sub-zero refrigerator/freezer. There’s nothing more fun than surprising the whole group with stacks of steaming hotcakes right off the restaurant-style griddle.

Other perks include the reverse osmosis filtered drinking water in the kitchen and instant hot water, plus a dishwasher, trash compactor, microwave, icemaker, enormous walk-in butler pantry, and large gas grill. This home has all the utensils, serving dishes, and cookware you might need for an epic Thanksgiving dinner. Cooking for a large group has never been so convenient!

After an alfresco dinner on the patio, relax under the stars or soak in the hot tub while your kids go for a night swim. Please note the pool and spa can be heated during cooler months; however, an additional charge may apply.

Feeling sleepy? It doesn’t matter which bedroom you’re in—between the plush mattresses and the high-quality linens, you’ll fall fast asleep. Six of the bedrooms are in the main house. The other two are located in the guest house behind the pool. In all, there are seven king-size beds and five queens.

We also have two convertible sofas, both of which sleep two people comfortably. And if you’re party is really large, we have four super comfy, premium air mattresses, which will accommodate an additional eight guests.

The main living area, which we call “The Great Room,” has a full entertainment system, a four-sided gas fireplace, and plenty of room for each couple to get cozy. Alternately, each of the four master suites has its own high def flat screen TV, DVD player and premium satellite TV throughout the house including the kitchen.

Everything at Paradise Valley Oasis will surpass your expectations, including the supremely indulgent master suites. Rooms are comfortable and the property has some character to it with the guest house, fireplaces and rooms to have privacy if you want to read, relax or take a nap. Bring your own stuff like pool toys and remember that there are supplies in the guest house too (if you rent that) in case you run out of towels, dishwasher pods, wine glasses, etc in the main house. “We stayed at the Paradise Valley Oasis for a week with extended family and loved it! Location was perfect – within 10-15 minutes of anything you’d need, from gas, restaurants, shopping, attractions – in a gorgeous neighborhood. The pool was perfect and where we spent the majority of our time. The house had plenty of room for people to spread out and entertain themselves (pool table, TVs, quiet places to curl up with a book) and the booking process was quick and easy. All towels (bath and pool) and most paper products were included. They also have two high chairs and pack and plays for you to use – which was huge since we were traveling with a toddler. We ate the majority of our meals at home, and after a stop at Costco (15 minutes away) we had plenty of room to fit everything in the huge refrigerator, freezer and pantry. Aside from these small nice-to-haves we have nothing but great things to say and would definitely stay at PVO again! A big thanks to Charlene – who answered any questions or concerns we had promptly and professionally (Guy’s assistant as he was out of town) – and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy.”

“This house was exactly what we were looking for when planning a reunion for 20 guys. It was centrally located with perfect proximity to golf courses, bar scene/night life, restaurants/groceries and easy ride to and from the airport. The house is kept in pristine shape and offers all the amenities a group could ask for such as a surplus of kitchen supplies, tons of televisions, nice swimming pool and outdoor chairs, a pool table and just an all around comfortable feel. The owner could not have been more accomodating regarding the booking and check out process as well as anything we needed during our stay (although we didn’t need anything since we were so fully equipped). All instructions were properly laid out and the owner was very flexible with our check in and check out times. There was an ample amoun of towels and toiletries in every room and we were never lackig anything. I strongly recommend this place to anybody looking to plan a getaway to an amazing area. For the record, we went in August and the weather was not too hot at all and actually made for a nice time to visit Arizona as the town was not as crowded. I recommend visiting this area 12 months out of the year. We-Ko-Pa and Grayhawk were incredbile courses with professional staff for anybody looking to golf. 10/10 for the owner and staff! Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway”

We found this on the internet and upon arriving we were so pleased, the house was all that and more…beautifully decorated, family friendly and perfect for a large gathering. “We’d never rented such a large place before but since we had a larger than normal group [8 people] we wanted to be able to spread out a little. Great call! The house was huge… AND in a great neighborhood… AND close to everything we wanted/needed. The walk-in closet in the master bedroom was larger than my bedroom at home…the master bedroom was larger than my first house! The master bath was very large and well appointed with the steaming hot tub right outside with a nice privacy wall. The gourmet kitchen [complete with Sub Zero and Viking appliances offered everything a group of [self appointed] cooks could ask for. The back yard was so cool with views of the mountains and a perfect heated pool/waterfall/slide. To mention that the house was immaculately clean and that the communication with the owner was beyond expectations almost seems a given, but I know from experience that it is not to be taken for granted. Guy and Dixie have a well refined process for everything from rate quotes to move in to move out…and everything in between. It made for a most enjoyable visit to Paradise Valley with no surprises [except the good kind!] We will most certainly return.”

“What a great place to stay. We stayed at The PV Oasis then traveled to Kobey’s Cozy Cabin for skiing. We as well as our two Westies loved it. The skiing at Sunrise was great. Given we have skied a lot in France and Switzerland we were very happy with the conditions at Sunrise. As Arnold said we will be back.”

“I loved this home! And it really is a home, not just a house to stay in on vacation. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and even with as large as it is, it was very cozy. From the waterfall, pool, and fireplace in the beautiful back yard with the hot tub, everything about this place was amazing. I’d go back to Arizona just to stay there. AMAZING!”

With 22 twin moms wanting to get away and enjoy we definitely had the right place picked for us. “The Desert Oasis was a delight. I was one of the women with the Sorority reunion and so pleased with everything. Considering many of us had not seen one another in 28 years, the Desert Oasis offered us wonderful gathering spaces as well as plenty of private space if and when needed. We were pleased to find that groceries and necessities were just a short distance away. I would definitely recommend the “Desert Oasis” to others.”

“Our family stayed at the Kobey’s home the week after Christmas Dec. 26 2010 to Jan. 2, 2011. We found the home and area to be as presented on the website, elegant and well kept. We have a large family of 13 including small babies and found the home very spacious. We were able to BBQ our turkey and enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the evening. We highly recommend this home for a vacation and would rent from Guy in the future.”

“Four generations of my family met at this property for a long weekend to celebrate my grandparent’s 60th anniversary. The house was spacious and well stocked for all of our needs – from crib and changing table to pool towels. We cooked or grilled all of our meals at the house. The kitchen and outdoor grill were great. Our favorite spot in the house was actually the back patio at night with the water feature and fireplace running. My grandparents had a wonderful weekend and can’t stop talking about our trip weeks later. Thanks for giving us all the weekend of a lifetime!”

“We are 5 families in town for gymnastics meet and plenty of room. My family had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home back in February 2008. We were visiting the Phoenix area with my daughter’s gymnastic team. We shared this home with 5 other families. It was quite comfortable and all of its amenities were perfect for our group. “So much better than a hotel. Everyone under one roof was amazing! My daughter’s gymnastics team recently visited Phoenix for a meet, and we decided to rent a home instead of staying in a hotel. There were 6 families, and we were all pleasantly surprised at how much room we had & how beautifully decorated the house was. We would highly recommend one of Mr. Kobey’s homes to anyone visiting the Phoenix area!!!”

“It could not have been more perfect. My family and friends went to Arizona for my husband’s graduation for his under-grad this past summer. We stayed at Kobey’s Cozy Desert Oasis and IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PERFECT. Gorgeous home, decorated beautifully, it met ALL our needs (at the time, our son was 17 months old so he was at the walking/climbing/exploring stage) They have everything baby-proof but it’s all custom and fits into the decor beautifully (unlike most things you buy to baby-proof a home). We did have to draw names to see who was going to get that WONDERFUL master suite and bathroom though! I highly recommend this rental property. Mr. Kobey could not have been more nice and accommodating! I just wish he had property in North Carolina (which is where we are planning our next family vacation)!”
